A Review of Harry Potter Action Figures |
|
|
The Harry Potter movie series is very popular for today’s generation. I
think that Harry Potter is the Star Wars of the present generation.
Harry Potter action figures have taken the toy industry by storm which
led me to compare it to the popularity of Stars Wars action figures
during the 1970’s and 1980’s.
I can remember having a lot of fun playing with the Star Wars toys when I was a young kid. I can remember those days when I see my nieces and nephews play with Harry Potter action figures. My sister and I love to watch and listen to the kids play with those toys. Then we would also talk about our own childhood play.
We used to spend many hours playing with our collection and we had all of the bells and whistles, too. The Millennium Falcon was my favorite toy. My sister and I spent more hours playing Star Wars than we did in playing with our other toys. I smile every time I see that my nieces are more interested in playing with their Harry Potter action figures than their other toys.
The size of the Harry Potter action figures makes them more appealing than most toys. These toys are perfect for travel and can be organized well into carriers designed for just such items. I can remember carrying my Star Wars figures everywhere I went when I was a kid. Seeing my nieces and nephews do the same with their Harry Potter action figures brings back a lot of fun memories.
I think that it’s interesting because the two tales are so very different. I was imagining space and the future while kids today are imagining the past in a way. Anyway, the Harry Potter action figures are so closely linked to the Star Wars toys in my mind that I wouldn’t be surprised to see kids playing with both sets of toys at once.
You never know because this may be the next installment of the Harry Potter series. He could have an adventure in the galaxy. Well, it will probably never make it to the movies. I was inspired to dig up some of my old Star Wars toys when I saw my nephews and niece playing with their Harry Potter action figures. Maybe they would also like to share an adventure with their uncle.
